The Client is a 100% subsidiary of a Leader in Carbon Black across the globe. The Client in India is the leading manufacturer of Carbon Black, which is one of the key raw materials used in manufacturing automotive tires. The Client has it’s global HQ in Houston TX. Unlike their normal expansions through acquisition, the Client was setting up a 100% greenfield plant for the first time in the history of the organization. The Client was the first of its kind using a revolutionary new process of recycling water into steam, to be reused and sold to nearby manufacturing plants.

Project

SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 7

All standard SAP functions, SAP FICO, SD, MM. PP-QM, PM. ABAP, Interfaces with Hopper Truck and PLC System.
Approx. 200 users.
  • The SAP system had to Go-Live along with the commissioning of the Manufacturing process. Which was successfully achieved by releasing the 1st production order, and dispatch was done through SAP
  • Green Field project implementing 1st of it’s kind newly patented manufacturing technology.
  • Language issues.
  • 100% remote due to COVID Pandemic
  • Strict Deadlines to commission the manufacturing plant and SAP GoLive on the same day.
  • Interfaces with PLC Applications.
  • The Project execution was under the leadership of its APAC HQ in Taiwan and was underway during the COVID pandemic.
